In remembrance of 9/11, HSASA students will be observing a moment of silence after the morning Pleadge on September 11, 2017 Monday. We will have 2 readings right after the moment of silence by our high school students.

It is time to start getting the Chromebooks handed out. All students will need to fill out the Chromebook paperwork, which is available in the office, with parent and student signatures. All fees for insurance, any fees from last year, due to missing keys and chargers, must be paid in full before student receives their device. If you are new to Harmony this year, you must attend a Mandatory Chromebook Orientation to complete the process for your child to receive the Chromebook. We are having our next Parent Orientation this Tuesday,Sept. 12, 2017 at 5:30 p.m. in the small Cafeteria. We do have chromebook covers for sale in the front office for $10, if you wish to purchase one. It fits the Chromebook perfectly and has a zipped pocket for flash drives, etc.

First Day of School Announcement!! Dear Parents, Welcome Back to School Tigers!! Here’s information below for our 1st day of school August 22, 2017. We will begin classes at 7:45am. Campus doors will open at 7:15am and breakfast will be served at that time as well. Please be patient as we transition into this new school year. We are still in need of parent volunteers especially for Morning Drop-off and Dismissal. Please email – email@example.com to volunteer. At this time parents will not be able escort their child to their designated breakfast area or other areas on campus, unless scheduled to work on a campus activity or volunteer status approved by administration. All individuals entering the campus must check-in at the front office with proper identification. Students will receive a physical schedules on 1st day of school. Allstaff members are notified to a system in place to where the students will pick-up and review their schedules 1st period of the day. If changes need to be made, an Add/Drop form can be picked up by the student from their DEAR teacher and will be sent home for you, the parent, to view and sign off with the student. The student will return to their DEAR teacher and the teacher will send it over to the Dean of Academics for review. Thank You for Patience and Welcome Back Tigers!!

Harmony Science Academy, as its tradition, getting ready to celebrate another annual science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) Festival. We planned to have this year’s one on May 19th, 2017. HSA-SA has been organizing very successful STEM Festivals since 2013 and joining forces form all across to subjects from STEM to English, Social Studies and Arts to present hundreds of activities that range in complexity to entertain people of all ages. We hope to increase awareness of the critical role science and other STEAM fields play in our world every day. HSA-SA STEM Festival offers opportunities for people of all ages to get involved, help the community, and further explore STEM concepts.
