Financial Aid Sessions for Class of 2019- Students and Parents!
In collaboration with State of Texas Community Safety Education Act we will be showing this video to our High School students. The SBOE adopted a new rule in Title 19 of the Texas Administrative Code (TAC), §74.39, Requirements for Instruction on Proper Interaction with Peace Officers, that became effective August 27, 2018. This rule requires school districts and charter schools to provide instruction to students in grades 9-12 on proper interaction with peace officers during traffic stops and other in-person encounters.

We give students MAP tests to determine your child’s instructional level and to measure academic growth throughout the school year, and from year to year in the areas of Reading, Language, Math, and Science. Your child will take the tests on a Chromebook. MAP tests are unique in that they adapt to be appropriate for your child’s level of learning. As a result, each student has the same opportunity to succeed and maintain a positive attitude toward testing. And with MAP tests, we can administer shorter tests and use less class time while still receiving detailed, accurate information about your child’s growth.
* Please make sure that your student gets a good night sleep, a good breakfast and comes ready to do their best on the test.
*Please remind your child to bring their Chromebooks to school fully charged.
